According to our bylaws, “The Board of Directors of Christ Counseling Ministry is vested with the management of the property, business and affairs of this Corporation, subject to the Texas Non-Profit Corporation Act, the Articles of Incorporation, and these bylaws.” Each member signs a statement each year that begins with the following - “As a Board member of Christ Counseling Ministry, Inc., I understand that:
· I am morally responsible for the health and well-being of this organization. As a member of the board, I pledge to help realize the mission of Christ Counseling Ministry, Inc.
· I am fiscally responsible, with other board members, for this organization. I will exercise prudence with the board in financial oversight of this organization.
· I am legally responsible, along with other board members, for this organization.”
