Licensed Professional Counselor
She has worked as an LPC since 2000. She counsels children, adolescents and adults. She helps children & adolescents with many issues including: anxiety, depression, anger, peer relationships, self esteem, social issues, and grief, abuse and family adjustments. She incorporates the family system into the therapy process when working with children and teenagers. Darla feels strongly called to help children and teens find a sense of self, and help them recognize Christ’s unconditional love.
Another strong area of interest for Darla is women’s issues. She has worked with women who have experienced a pregnancy loss or abortion. Darla worked as an RN before becoming a counselor, specifically in Obstetrical Nursing. She works with adults in various other areas as well including: depression, anxiety, grief and various family adjustments.
